Whether you're a multi-published author or just taking the first steps in your writing career, ACFW is the place for you to learn more about the craft and expand your knowledge of the publishing industry.

Our group provides fellowship, encouragement and learning along the writing journey. We are committed to helping you succeed.

Meet Our Board:

Erin Kohler
  Erin Kohler, President

Inspirational writer and aspiring novelist, Erin Kohler, did something she said she'd never do: marry an Army guy. Not only did she fall in love with him, she fell in love with military life. Though her husband is now retired from the Army, she continues to write about the challenges and blessings that accompany military life. She is blessed to be the mom of two amazing girls and two sweet dogs. She also enjoys encouraging other moms as a contributing writer for Colorado Springs Moms Blog. She counts herself lucky to watch the sun set behind Cheyenne Mountain every evening, and enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and any time spent with her family. You can follow her at, and

Margie Wood
  Margie Wood, Secretary

Margie Wood’s heart is to help others find their way to God’s forgiveness. She infuses this mantra into her fiction novels, where her characters are inspired to see God’s goodness and love.

Margie’s publishing credits include devotionals in Gary Chapman’s Love is a Verb, as well as Mark Littleton’s God Still Meets Needs (both under the name Margie Christenson). She actively participates in the American Christian Fiction Writers Colorado Springs group and serves as Secretary on their board. Margie has been writing fiction for seventeen years.

A long-time Colorado resident, Margie fosters a love for Victorian mansions. Her happy place is sipping tea in Victorian dresses and hats with good friends, and writing retreats in the serene beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Diane Campbell
  Diane M. Campbell, Treasurer

Diane M. Campbell has always been a daydreamer. As a child, she'd concoct adventures while perched in the crook of a tree on her family's farm. Idle hours in the forest have continued to be source inspiration for tales of adventure and mystery, though tree-climbing has been traded in for hammock-swinging. These days, the 2017 Genesis winner is working to complete her second novel, the first in a futuristic series.

Jodi Artzberger
Jodi Artzberger, Webmistress

Jodi writes inspirational romantic suspense stories that are Gospel centered and intertwined with God's love and plan of redemption. Her passion for the Word has led her to teach women’s Bible studies and teach women how to study their Bibles for themselves. She loves living in beautiful Colorado with her husband, two boys and three rescue dogs. In her spare time, you can find her reading, of course. She also enjoys exploring Colorado and playing with her latest kitchen gadget. or Facebook
